I found this piece of word in youtube and find it very interesting. I think it links with kinetic typography. Its just that this creation has more design than words. However, i felt that on the overall, it's a well done creation with the music and the transformation of stuffs.

These are a few of spins that i found in the newspaper.

Booming Business : How to earn $10 000 a month
- The spin is that they are attracting people by telling them that they can earn more money in one month. This is to pull or attract, or even promote the company in a attractive manner.

Starhub : Enjoy more rewards from MaxOnline and MaxMobile with Hub Club.
- The spin is that Starhub is making the reader believe that they will give rewards if they join the Hub Club, this is to promote Starhub. But we never know what the reward is.

The difference between weekdays and weekends:
- I have look through both newpaper and StraightsTimes in these2 weeks.
. There are more spins(in advertisement form) for the weekday papers compared to the weekend papers.
. More news on weekend.

The spin is that Hilary Clinton is putting in so many things into her citizen so that they can vote for her.

This advertisement clearly shows that they are trying to win votes through giving free health services. It is clear cut a spin.

Red, square boxes symbolising strength, stability and prosperity. A black swirl to denote totality in its services to all. Black serif fonts for its logotype - a respect to tradition, yet modern in its facilities. Let ye who comes against us, beware.

The idea for the 'Star' logo came when Paul and Adolf Daimler, the two sons of the company's founder (and then in charge of the business), remembered that their father had once used a star symbol in his family correspondence.Their father, Gottlieb Daimler, had been technical director of the Deutz gas engine factory from 1872 until 1881. At the beginning of his employment there, he had marked a star above his own house on a picture postcard of Cologne and Deutz, and had written to his wife that this star would one day shine over his own factory to symbolize prosperity.he three points of the star were supposed to represent Daimler's ambition of universal motorization: "on land, on water and in the air".
Over the years the logo evolved, to include the 'Benz' laurel wreath, and then, in 1923, the three-pointed star enclosed in a circle was registered as a trademark.

The company filed three designs to distinguish between the different qualities in which its tools were available:
- A lion, with or without an arrow, for top of the range products
- A crescent moon for second category products
- A hand for third quality.

Subaru was the first Japanese car company to use a name derived from its own language. It refers to a group of six stars - also known by its original Japanese name of mutsuraboshi - in the constellation of Taurus. We'd know them as Pleiades. Subaru is also Japanese for "unite".

The Japanese have a bit of a weakness for mad badges. Hence, the current Toyota symbol that looks like a cowboy in a big hat, but is actually three elipses depicting the heart of the customer, the heart of the product, and the ever-expanding technological advancements and boundless opportunities that lie ahead.

the same time.
. It'a a free seminar on how to earn more than $3000 monthly
- Global Edupreneur Program
"Booming $100 Million Business"
. Free Seminar on how to earn $10 000 monthly
- Neuslim

The things mentioned above are some of the things that i think is spins.

. Is there a different in how the newpaper handle weekday's paper vs Friday to
Sunday's paper?

Yes, there is a difference. And the difference is that there are more spins in
the weekday paper compared to Friday to Sunday. And i think this is because
more people will buy newpaper during the weekend and thus more news is put into
the weekend papers

- Mercedes -
A funny commercial. It users a woman who is blond and the common stereotyped term " dumb blond" or "bimbo". The tag line shows that the Mercedes is opposite of the woman, giving the impression that the car is more high-class and more sophisticated to drive around.

-Volkswagen,VW-
This commercial shows the importance of the car towards the guy. With the song, it also shows that the car is an addictive that the guy can't let it go. And by not letting another person drive the car, shows how precious the car is to him; more precious than the lady.

-Toyota-
This commercial also shows that the car is more important than the woman. It shows that both character can't wait to get the car first. And with the song, it shows that they love the car more than they love each other.

-Subaru-
This commercial specifically concentrates on the speed of the car as its being compared to a cheetah which is the fastest running animal.By showing the speed of the car, the commercial is showing the function n quality of the car. This is not available in all cars. So, it's in an advantage.

-Nissan Qashqai-
A very unique commercial which elaborates that the car is a very small and compact car. Besides that, it is also strong as it does not crush easily. I personally like this commercial as it is very unique and different fro other commercials.

.What do you think of consumerism towards the automobile is like in Singapore?
- I think that Singapore is having too many automobile on the road and i strongly believe that having too many automobile is the root of the problem of global warming and the rising temperature in Singapore. And this is the cause of the gases coming out fro the automobile.
Singapore has a very complex network of infrastructure and Singapore is not a big country that it will take hours and hours to travel from one place to the other. Having a car to travel around will make life convenient but will also endanger lives in future. Therefore, i think that the consumerism of the automobile in Singapore is too high and that it should be reduce to improve our environment for our surroundings and own health.
